Special Guest Gov. Sarah Palin and a number of celebrities will join the 27 Combat Veterans running for Congress October 9 at the Patriotic Gala in San Diego, an event organized by Combat Veterans for Congress. West Point graduate and Desert Storm veteran Joe Miller will be the Keynote Speaker. One of the 27 candidates from 18 states endorsed by the PAC, Miller was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and has been endorsed in his bid for the U.S. Senate by Gov. Palin.
Comedian Norm Crosby will be a Special Guest Star at the event, which will be MC’ed by actor Chad Everett, perhaps best known for his role as Dr. Joe Gannon in the 1970s television drama ‘Medical Center’.

That banner advertising the “Combat Veterans Event” is pretty offensive, rude, and disgusting, if you ask me.
Isn’t it true that Joe Miller’s “title” is listed as (R – Senate – AK)?
Well, guess what, he won the PRIMARY between him and other Republicans — he hasn’t won anything in the general election yet, which won’t be held for more than a month from now.
So why is he being touted as the Senator from Alaska? Lisa Murkowski is the Senior Senator from Alaska, and Mark Begich is the Junior Senator from Alaska, and as far as I know, no state in the Union gets more than 2 U.S. Senators at a time.
IF Joe Miller wins the seat in November, he won’t even take office until the Senate reconvenes in January, so I’d say he’s quite a bit premature.
