It looks like former President Bill Clinton is raping Kendrick Meek’s chances in Florida, as reports are running rampant that Clinton is trying to force Meek out of the race, to clear a path for former Republican Charlie Crist. Remember that Wall Street Journal report that suggested Democrats were trying to pressure Kendrick Meek into quitting Florida’s Senate race? Well, it looks like it was true.
In a dramatic turn of events, former President Bill Clinton confirmed reports Thursday night that he had talked to Meek, a longtime political ally, about leaving the race and endorsing Charlie Crist. “He was trying to determine what was the best thing for him to do,” Clinton told CNN’s Susan Candiotti. “I knew it was being discussed, people had discussed it on and off… it was no secret… He was trying to think about what was the best thing for Florida.”
The accused rapist and confessed womanizer – Bill Clinton – is scheduled to stop in Kentucky Monday night to support Jack Conway, but with polling showing Conway has lost too much ground in recent weeks to Dr. Rand Paul – Paul now leads by 12% points – I expect Bill Clinton to cancel his trip and save face!
