Will David Williams Be The Next Governor In Kentucky?
New polling shows the Williams-Farmer ticket with a 1% advantage over Beshear-Abramson. This strong polling suggests that the Obama-friendly governor in Kentucky – Steve Beshear – could be in serious trouble, especially considering unemployment has drastically increased since Beshear took office.

The Williams-Farmer 2011 ticket for Governor and Lt. Governor of Kentucky conducted a survey this week and again found the GOP ticket in a strong position against Beshear and Abramson. The survey, conducted October 24-26, showed Williams and Farmer at 46% versus Beshear and Abramson’s 45%.
“We’ve conducted three surveys since July 2010 that all show the Williams-Farmer Republican Ticket is extremely competitive against the Beshear-Abramson Democratic Ticket. Our October survey results show the Republican Ticket up by a point, a statistical dead heat,” pollster Brian Gottlieb writes in a memo. “We continue to believe that in this political climate, and without an active campaign, these results are very strong and further favor the Williams-Farmer Republican Ticket.”
In addition to the findings on the 2011 governor’s race the survey found Rand Paul beating Jack Conway 52% to 40%, closely tracking other polls.
