Woman threatened at Chris Coons rally

I received the following in an email from the 9-12 Delaware Patriots. It’s an the account of a woman protesting the appearance of Al Franken at a Chris Coons event on Thursday. Union thugs from the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) felt threatened by the 92-pound woman and scared the daylights out of her. These are how supporters of Chris Coons behave.

THIS HAPPENED TO A NCC 9-12 DELAWARE PATRIOT MEMBER AT AN IBEW RALLY IN WILMINGTON FOR CHRIS COONS THIS WEEK

I got there a little early and was the first one to arrive. I parked far away and walked to the IBEW parking lot waiting for the others to arrive. I saw another lady, who was not with the Christine group, and we started chatting while walking thru the lot. She was walking to her car from a job interview.

We were in the IBEW lot, it’s a big lot, not even near the building, not even carrying a sign, I just had on a Christine Shirt. Two big “muscle” men from IBEW came out and got very aggressive, yelling and threatening that they would have us arrested. She was very scared and ran one way. I walked the other way on the side walk, away from the IBEW lot, with the two big guys following me. I asked them not to follow me. I told them I was frightened by that. I told them I did nothing wrong, and they could see that was leaving so there was no problem.

They got very aggressive again; they could walk on the grass if they wanted to. I was not even on IBEW property at that point, well out of the parking lot, but they said IBEW owned the grass and it was private property and they could stand there chasing me if they want to. I ran away to meet the other lady by the Reybold building next to IBEW…..I live in a Reybold property…..and I was going to duck in there and hide.

But Joe O’Leary came and got us and told us not to be afraid. He told us to join the group he was with and to tell the news reporters what happened.

Well lots and lots of people were on private property that day, news reporters and the general public, lots of people were there to see Senator Franken.

But IBEW was going to have ME arrested for the wrong shirt in THEIR parking lot.

Senator Franken is on the GOVERNMENT payroll, he works for the SENATE and the Senate is supposed to be for ALL The people..

IBEW did call the police to have the whole group of O’Donnell supporters arrested, but the police were on our side. They told us were we could stand there and gave us instruction not to impede traffic. They were smiling at us so I was not so frightened anymore.

After the speech was over some Coons supporters came out and literally BLOCKED TRAFFIC and even parked a truck with a Coons sign next to the No Stopping sign, waving Coons signs and walking right out in the empty lane of traffic.

But much of the traffic that day.and the police were with US many cars were beeping horns giving thumbs up; it was only the IBEW that got ugly..
