Gas Prices Going Up; Oil Drilling Going Down

Just another effect of Obama policies:

More than two months after the Obama administration lifted its ban on drilling in the deep-water Gulf of Mexico, oil companies are still waiting for approval to drill the first new oil well there. Experts now expect the wait to continue until the second half of 2011, and perhaps into 2012.

Lots of excuses for it, but it really just amounts to foot-dragging by Administration officials who figure we shouldn’t be using oil, anyways.  Our Ruling Elite is like that – they can take $4 or $5 a gallon gas (especially if they get it free from government) and they believe that an American filled with more pedestrians and bus-riders is a better America.

But, meanwhile, those of us who have to live in Obama’s America are feeling the pinch…not just in terms of higher gas prices, but higher prices for everything other than housing.  Gasoline is used everywhere in our economy, so when gas goes up, everything goes up with it.  And by refusing to ok more domestic production, Obama also ensures that foreign, enemy States continue to profit off our misery.  Its a nasty situation – and from Obama on down, no one in Democrat ranks gives a darn about it.
