On the Death of Osama Bin Laden

Yesterday’s operation was a victory for our Country and for its military. It’s something that all Americans can share in. Certainly, President Obama is to be congratulated as this operation was brilliantly executed on watch. Certainly,  President Bush deserves some credit as his administration laid the groundwork and indeed the information began to come together in 2007. The key to our national defense is so many people who defende our country regardless of how elections turn out.

I take satisfaction in the competence of our military and their undying professionalism. I’m satisfied that justice was done and that closure will be brought to 9/11 families. As the President said last night, this does end our nation’s efforts against Al Qaeda, and the fight will go on.
