Mexican President: US Should Reconsider ‘ Mistaken’ Gun Laws

(The Hill)   Mexican President Felipe Calderon urged the United States to reconsider its “mistaken” gun laws in a series of tweets Saturday following the movie theater massacre last week in Colorado. Calderon first offered his condolences for the shooting spree that left 12 dead and injured nearly 60 others during a midnight screening of the latest Batman film.  “I express my condolences to the American people for the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado,” Calderon tweeted.  But the Mexican president then urged American lawmakers to reconsider gun control legislation.

“Because of the Aurora, Colorado tragedy, the American Congress must review its mistaken legislation on guns. It kills,” Calderon said.

Calderon has been a frequent critic of American gun laws. During a 2010 address before a joint session of Congress, the outgoing Mexican president urged Congress to reinstate the assault weapons ban that expired in 2004.

“I fully respect, I admire the American Constitution. And I understand that the purpose of the Second Amendment is to guarantee good American citizens the ability to defend themselves and their nation,” Calderon said. “Many of these guns are not going to honest American hands, instead, thousands are ending up in the hands of criminals.”  Read Complete Article Here:

OK, let me get this straight, because of the horrible tragedy this past week in Aurora, Colorado, Mexican President Calderon said “the American Congress must review its mistaken legislation on GUNS”.   Vicente Calderon, you have a lot of guts and no brains. That is one of the most IGNORANT statements I have ever heard from a sitting President.   Now lets spell this out for Calderon. Before you start to throw stones Calderon, you had better not live in a glass house.

Now let me just throw out a few numbers at you, Mexican officials say nearly 13,000 people were killed in violence blamed on organized crime between January and September 2011. Now I know you are going to scream that those 13, 000 murders do not count because they were cartel killing cartel….sorry, a murder is a murder either way you slice the pie…and hundreds of those are innocent Mexican citizens standing on the street corner minding their own business. This means there have been 47,515 drug-related KILLINGS since President Felipe Calderon launched his crackdown on drug traffickers in late 2006. Source

So let me check this out Mr Mexican President Vicente Calderon…so the United States must revisit our our gun laws. It appears that Calderon is blaming the 12 deaths on our Gun laws. I hate to revisit this political issue so soon after this horrible incident, but I have to say the following.   I have said and I will repeat this again…“GUNS DO NOT KILL PEOPLE” PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE, it is that simple.  So simple in fact, Mexican President Vicente Calderon’s Country, the country that HE has governed for the past 6 years is the prime example of the point I have tried to make.

And this is the guy that is telling us to get our house in order. Mr. Calderon, do me a favor, take care of the mess you have in your own back yard before you start telling the United States what to do. Now of course you may think the USA is your country as well, with 15 million of YOUR CITIZENS HERE ILLEGALLY, I can understand the mistake.

I am at the point where I am so sick and tired of Vicente Calderon  pointing his stubby little finger in the face of the United States being to blame for everything that “Mexico can’t do for it’s self.” They blame the United States for their very own economic failures. So much so they encourage their citizens to go illegally to the United States, and mooch off of their taxpayer money, because Obama will accept you with open arms. There is no need to worry, because Obama has ordered their Border Patrol not to arrest any illegals, so go, “eat drink and be merry.”

It did not take long for the anti gun loons to come out in force against our CONSTITUTIONAL right to bear arms. The egg head New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg could not wait, as he came out advance of the facts demanding that Obama and Romney make a statement as to what would be their plan for gun control would be.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said President Barack Obama has spent his first term avoiding the gun control debate, as he continued to press Obama and presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney on the issue following Friday’s mass shooting in Colorado.

“The president has spent the last three years trying to avoid the issue, or if he’s facing it, I don’t know of anybody who has seen him face it,” Bloomberg said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

A vocal proponent of gun control, Bloomberg has renewed his push for stricter gun laws since suspected shooter James Holmes allegedly opened fire in a packed Aurora movie theater during a midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises” Friday, killing 12 people and wounding 59 others. Michael Bloomberg is a man hellbent on stripping the United States citizens of it’s second amendment rights,  couple that with Hussein Obama’s desire to be the first Dictator of the United States, you have a dangerous pair.

Now let me throw some cold water on your face, if Hussein Obama, the fraud President is elected to a second term, the next appointment to the United States Supreme court will be WHAT? A progressive liberal tree hugger; this will shift the balance of the court, and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has made no bones about wanting to be the Justice who tip the court into a 5-4 decision to strip citizens of their rights to bear arms.  I will say it NOW, I will not give up my weapons to ANYONE, NOW OR AT ANYTIME IN THE FUTURE, and especially to an illegitimate President. I have not hidden the fact from anyone that asks. I detest Barack Hussein Obama with every ounce of fiber in my old crippled up body. He has been an EMBARRASSMENT to the United States of America since the day he took the oath of office.

I will close with this, the 2012 will be the most important election in the history of this nation. If you want to live in a country that will be just like any other 3 rd world country, with a decaying military, an army that more than likely could not defeat a high school ROTC program, then you have to vote for Barack Hussein Obama; a socialist/communist who has degraded and embarrassed this country since day one, starting with his apology tour and ended by his bowing before his Muslim brethren, that’s your man.  The man who still has not revealed anything that has been asked of him, no school records, no college records false social security number and it goes on and on. Personally, I have had enough.
