Do Obama’s Executive Orders Reveal A Pattern?

 Is there a goal in these orders?

 Warren Beatty wrote on American Thinker about Obama’s many executive orders and whether a pattern has emerged. He writes:

President Barack Hussein “kill list” Obama has offered over 900 Executive Orders (EO), and he is not even through his first term.  He is creating a wonderland of government controls covering everything imaginable, including a list of “Emergency Powers” and martial law EOs.  And while Obama is busy issuing EOs to control everything inside the US, he has issued EOs to force us to submit to international regulations instead of our US Constitution.

 

 You can read his full article on American Thinker, he suggests that certain executive orders could give the federal government control over just about everything. While executive orders aren’t something new, George Bush issued 291 and Obama has issued 134. Now like most people I think executive orders are something that should be limited and never should expand the power of the executive branch.

 Obama issued executive order 13617 talking about entitled “Blocking Property of the Government of the Russian Federation Relating to the Disposition of Highly Enriched Uranium Extracted From Nuclear Weapons,”  Obama said this about this executive order.

the risk of nuclear proliferation created by the accumulation of a large volume of weapons-usable fissile material in the territory of the Russian Federation continues to constitute an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States, and hereby declare a national emergency to deal with that threat.

 

 In issuing 13617 Obama basically declared a national emergency, which could grant him the right to declare martial law. Now this is were many people start calling you paranoid, your crazy or that Obama would never do anything like that. To assume that Obama or any president wouldn’t be interested in limiting the powers of the people is a mistake.

 He then issued 13618 which gives the executive branch the ability to control all communications in a national emergency. These executive orders add to JFK’s executive orders about governments ability to take control of the following.

• EO 10990 allows the Government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.
• EO 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels, and minerals.
• EO 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision
• EO 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.
• EO 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.
• EO 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate and establish new locations for populations.
• EO 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways, and public storage facilities.

 When you put all these together the pattern emerges, all Obama need is a national emergency and he has the power to create one. I don’t think this is about being paranoid, it’s about are you paranoid enough to what Obama may be capable of doing. Why would you need an executive order about Russian nuclear material? We all understand it’s a threat, you could do something about it without issuing the EO and it makes you wonder about his motives for doing so.
