Is Paul Ryan’s Black Ex-Girlfriend A Campaign Issue?

Via the Daily News.  As long as it isn’t Oprah, or Whoopie, I think voters will find a way to deal with it. From reading around, the left is straining to make the point it proves he’s a racist – because of his policies, or some silliness. I just hope they don’t seek out the ex and ex-communicate her from her race for dating a Republican.

Liberals have been distracted from playing the race card for a couple of days while they hope people forget Vice President Joe Biden told a largely black audience that Republicans want to “put y’all back in chains.” But considering the alternative is talking about President Obama’s horrible, failed record, you knew it was only a matter of time before it came back.

And it’s back.

Keli Goff, “political correspondent” for TheRoot.com (described as a “leading online source of news and commentary from an African-American perspective”) who wrote a piece this week entitled, “Does Paul Ryan’s Black Ex-Girlfriend Matter?”

In this incredibly dumb piece, Goff asks the all-important (to no one) question, “Is the fact that Ryan has dated interracially a noteworthy detail to consider when analyzing his politics and policies?
