How Long Will We Allow Islam to Trump Freedom?

The more I think about it, the more incensed I become.  At any given time, people like Myboob Acksmydinnerup (oh, sorry, I meant Mahmoud Ahmadinejad), are free to travel around, giving speeches  in places where they have no business giving speeches and no one seems to mind.  Yet, let a Freedom Fighting American dare to try to take part in a freedom rally, and not only is he banned from attending the rally, he’s banned from entry into the entire nation!  A “Western, Freedom-Loving” nation at that!

When will it end America (and Canada)?  When will Western nations “grow a pair” and stop allowing Islam to bully away the rights of the citizens of these “free” nations?  We have anti-bullying legislation for our schools, but it appears we need it in our foreign policy books as well.  Does any high level politician or government official really think bowing down to Islam is the way to end the 1400 year reign of terror?  I’ll sit and listen to the crickets chirping while I’m waiting for an answer to that question.

And those of you who call yourselves Christians; who have been duped into believing that Islam is not a threat but it’s only a few radicals who are the threat, let me illustrate the magnitude of your naivite on this issue:

There are roughly 1.5 Billion Muslims in the world (1,500,000,000).  If only 1% of that population is “radical” (by radical, I mean they are actively engaging in radical behavior, let’s not even talk about the ones who are contemplating the idea of engaging in radical behavior), that means there are 15 million (15,000,000) ”radical” Muslims actively engaging in acts of terror right now.  If only 1% of that population resides in the United States, that means there are 150,000 “radical” Muslims in our nation as we speak.

Ok, so maybe, just maybe that number is a bit high (I concede for the sake of argument only).  So let’s go with some actual numbers.  The Muslim population in the U.S., though difficult to tabulate, has been estimated to be from 5-8 million.  (This number was calculated in 1992, so it goes without saying that that number is much higher now, especially since the Obama administration has been diligently working to increase those numbers.)  Let’s take the conservative number.  If only 1% of the 5 million Muslims in the U.S. are radicals, that means we have 50,000 radical Muslims in the United States.

So by any estimate, we have anywhere between 50,000 to 150,000 radical Muslims in our nation.  Are you noticing a problem yet?

Conversely, how much of the Christian population is “radical” (actively engaging in radical behavior such as rioting over pretended offenses and planning terror plots)?  How about the Hindu population, or the Pagan population?  Why are there so many radicals in Islam?  Too often we like to come up with conclusions that make sense from a Christian point of view, but it makes absolutely no sense in the real world.  Folks, there are so many radical Muslims because of one thing and one thing only: the Koran.  Granted, it takes countless Imams and Clerics to preach the radical scriptures of the Koran in order to truly radicalize a population, but if the Koran itself were not a recipe for radical behavior, there would be nothing for the Imams and Clerics to preach from. (Truth be told, in many Mosques across the nation, they don’t even “preach” from the Koran.  The Imams simply instruct based on their own desired interpretation of the Koran.)

The cold, hard truth folks, is that simply by numbers alone, we are on a very dangerous path concerning Islam and the longer we appease them and fool ourselves into believing that the problem is just a “few” radicals, the more dangerous the path becomes.  Already, we are seeing serious problems in places like Toronto, Canada and Dearborn, Mi.  Why do you think there is such a man as Terry Jones in the first place?  Because Dr. Jones spent 30 years in Germany and saw the rise of Islam there and realized that as the populations of Muslims increased, the problems increased.  It happens every single time folks.  Every. Single. Time.  Show me an area in a Western nation that has a large number of Muslims that’s peaceful and respects the other ethnic groups in the area and I will be the first to admit I am wrong.  But you’ll be hard-pressed to find such a community.

Let me provide you with another illustration:

How many people do you think make up the population of all those camps?

America, please hear me, the time has come to stop sticking our heads on the sand.  The time has come to accept that what we like to believe about people based on our Christian (or even secular) faith is not stopping this tidal wave from coming.  Yes, God can work miracles, but God also tells us that “…faith without works is dead.” – John, 2:26.  If we want God to stop this tidal wave, he is counting on us to work to make it happen.  If you truly believe that Islam is not the problem, then I challenge you to find a local mosque and spend a few weeks or even months attending their services, getting to know the attendees, and asking questions of the Imam.  After all, if it’s not a problem, it can’t hurt for you to get to know these people better right?

But before you enter into the lion’s den, you must equip yourself with at least the most basic Islamic concept, that of Taqiyya.  Taqiyya is when a Muslim is allowed to lie in order to promote Islam.  Now, Muslims will tell you that it can only be used when the Muslim is in “extreme danger” but what is extreme danger to a Christian and what is extreme danger to a Muslim are two separate things. To a Muslim, anything that threatens the promotion of Islam is extreme danger because Islam is the all controlling power and nothing comes before it; not friendships, not life; not death; nothing.  So if you are interested in talking to your local Imam, pay very close attention to his body language because it may be the only indication that he is exercising Taqiyya on you.

One other thing to be aware of is the concept of abrogation. I’ll let you read the linked article concerning that.  I don’t have to do all the work for you do I?

Because really, the point of this article is to lay out for you the need to become educated about Islam.  No more can you sit back and ignore that, yes, Islam is a problem because Islam will not go away.  Quite the contrary. The Muslim population in America has doubled since 9/11 (meaning that 5-8 million number from 1992 is in no way valid anymore).  Yes, 9/11, and the endless war that followed, has been used as an excuse to let countless Muslim “refugees” into our nation.  Remember the 1% number?  Well that number is now much larger.  It’s time to end the PC campaign.  No, it’s past time to end the PC campaign.

And that brings us back to Dr. Terry Jones.  A man who many Conservatives and Christians alike look down upon as some crazy fanatical.  They (you?) look down upon him because, braying the liberal talking points (whether they’re liberal or not), they blame him for the violence Islam is responsible for the world over.  If Muslims riot and kill overseas, they like to blame anything that has to do with Dr. Jones (among others), and like the ever faithful useful idiot, the holier-than-thous in America repeat the mantra.  It’s so easy to blame someone who isn’t going to kill you for doing so isn’t it?  And while you’re looking at Dr. Jones with self-righteous indignation, Muslims are laughing for the eternal gullibility of Americans and Christians.  While they’re laughing and you’re scorning, we are losing our freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and all other kinds of freedoms in the name Islam.

When you were in high school, did not your father tell you that the only way to deal with a bully is to stand up to him?  Well isn’t that what Dr. Jones is doing? Yet instead of applauding his courageous efforts to preserve our freedom of speech and religion, he is scorned as the monster in the situation and the Muslims are portrayed as the victims.  All is going as planned and the scornful are accomplices to it.

Political Correctness be damned.  We have a nation to save here and while we’re sitting safely in our air conditioned homes complaining about the cost of gas, Dr. Jones is driving across the country to stand up for the freedoms we take for granted.  We should be eternally grateful to him.

I’ll leave you with a story from Pakistan related to me by the Dr. Jones’ “Stand Up America” ladies.  Stand Up America gets phone calls from all over the world and one day a call came in from Pakistan.  The person called to tell Dr. Jones thank you!  Christians in Pakistan have been using Dr. Jones’ actions as a way to convert Muslims to Christianity.  You see, many Muslims, especially in non-Western nations, are Muslims through coercion and fear.  They believe (because they’ve been told their entire lives) that if they leave Islam it is the same as insulting Islam, the spiritual penalties are very high, and that they will no longer be allowed to live.  However, when friendly Christians point out how much insult Dr. Jones has bestowed upon Islam, yet he still lives, it has changed some hearts and has helped to erase the fear that binds them to Islam.

So, you see, there is more to what Dr. Jones does than meets the eye.  There is more to fear than a Dr. Jones protest.  If you are not concerned about Islam and what its followers can and will do to us if we don’t stand up to the bully, then I challenge you to try to convince me that Islam is not a problem.   But remember, while you’re trying to convince me, there’s likely to be a Muslim training camp in your back yard who’s all too willing to take advantage of your compassion and sensitivity towards our enemy and scorn towards our ally.
