Teaching and Our Higher Educational System

I strongly encouraged my students to challenge everything I said with which they disagreed.  They were deathly afraid to do that.  It was because their liberal/progressive professors threatened them and dumbed them down that they did not want to argue with the teacher.  It was very sad to experience college kids not growing because they were afraid to question the professor, to challenge the professor, and to debate the professor.

I had to coax them to argue with me on any wrong answer they received on their quizzes and exams—if they instead felt they were right.  If they made a reasonable, sensible argument, I gave them the points.  This motivated them to challenge my questions more as the semester went on.  I even increased their grades for questioning and challenging me.  They realized that I really meant it, and that I really wanted them to argue points to increase their ability to question and argue matters before them.

What is college for anyway if they are only there to open the hole in the top of their skulls and have the liberal/progressive professors pour propaganda and liberal thoughts into their brains?  That’s why most kids become liberal by the time they graduate from college.  Even I was in that mode of operation in college.

I have found that even the professors in graduate school do not want us to argue points with them.  While working on a doctorate, I found that some professors got quite angry and revengeful if I challenged their thoughts and opinions.  That is when it becomes quite sickening—when you are in graduate school and they will not let you disagree with them.

Graduate school is where we should always have a give-and-take atmosphere where learners should not be afraid to challenge their professors.  Socrates, Plato, Archimedes, et al. would be very frustrated teaching in today’s colleges and universities.  The liberals/progressives are so ingrained, infiltrated, and infested throughout our educational system that it is a very sad state of affairs indeed.

A mathematics assistant professor at Brevard Community College in Melbourne, Florida, makes class sign “Vote for Obama” pledge.  Unbelievable!  She should be teaching math, for goodness sakes, not pushing a political candidate!  The college administrators should fire her.  However, the school administration, as at most colleges and universities, is full of liberal/progressive administrators.  Hence, I will not hold my breath.

I teach Homeland Security at Colorado Technical University (CTU) where politics come up in class more often than not.  However, I work hard at remaining as neutral as possible no matter how liberal some of my students’ comments sound.  Furthermore, I neither push Romney nor denigrate Obama during class discussions.

I strive hard to be fair and balanced.  Our schools and colleges are so imbalanced with liberal/progressive professors that all they do is indoctrinate and brainwash our unsuspecting, innocent students with nothing but political propaganda (or mind garbage).  That is the trouble with our current educational system.  Hence, that is the explanation as to why all of these young people prefer Obama over Romney.  The liberals and progressives have rotted the minds of our young people.  This situation is, indeed, a very sad state of affairs.

If you are a liberal/progressive at the age of 20, you have a heart.  If you are a liberal/progressive at the age of 40, you have no brains.  If you are still a liberal/progressive at the age of 60, you are a misguided soul.  Furthermore, if you are still a liberal/progressive at the age of 80, you are a lost cause, die-hard, and hard-core liberal/progressive ideologue and demagogue.  God bless our United States of America!
