Is Another Another Cold War Looming

As my friend and blogging buddy Fred Witzell ( The TexasFred Blog ) would say, if it happened yesterday it is old news. I agree with the Fred 100%.  If it is over a day old it is stale news. However,  I am going to publish this bit of old news because I believe the American people need to be reminded of what is going on in the world.  For the most part people just want to live a quite and normal life and be left alone.  I understand that feeling, I just want to live in peace and be left alone as well.

However, Obama is stirring the pot, and I am not going to sit idly by and keep my mouth shut while Obama attempts to strip us of our guns and trounce on the constitution and leads us down a path of weakness and destruction and ultimate collapse . I will have my say.  You do not have to like it.  If you do not like it, just leave the site and have a great day.

In today’s time the United States has picked up a disease, it is called “LIBERALISM,” OR “PROGRESSIVE LIBERALS” EITHER either way it is a disease.  They are a poison to this nation and our very way of life.  They are in a position to undo what our forefathers put in to place.  The liberals have taken “GOD” out of the classroom, the courthouses throughout America.  Our country was founded on judeo-christian values.

They believe in their mentor Hussein Obama and his socialistic/communistic values. Where the hard working class must provide for the lazy and provide for illegal immigrants who are draining America.  We have become a free cheese nation and Obama needs capital to fund his socialistic programs, like Obamacare and abortions etc.  So where does he take money, from our Military and the rich and any other place he can find.  The one area where we need to remain strong is our military, and Obama is doing his best to weaken our defenses.

Do you remember just a few months back, March 26 2012 when Obama was caught on an open mic when he said the following “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”  Source 

The true meaning behind what the anointed  said is really only know by Obama and the Russian  Government of course.  Do I believe that Obama would sell out America, you bet your sweet arse I do. He will sell us out in ways we might not see or know about.  Obama has already started shredding the military budget.  Obama believes that a smaller or leaner military is better. I do not know who’s kool-aide glass Obama has been drinking out of, but reducing our national defenses is not the way to keep our nation safe nor will it send the proper signal to your adversaries.

Just pay attention to the events which have taken place since Obama’s open mic slip.

CNN-U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has ordered the military to begin implementing cost-cutting measures aimed at mitigating the risk of significant budget cuts should Congress fail to reach a deal in coming months to avert or soften them.

“We have no idea what the hell is going to happen,” Panetta said Thursday. He has asked services to begin “prudent” measures, including curtailing maintenance for non-critical activities and delaying hiring.  The measures must be “reversible” and minimize harmful impacts on military readiness, Panetta told reporters at the Pentagon.

Military departments have also been told to report on how they would implement deep automatic spending cuts, called sequester, and enforce unpaid leave for civilian employees should the reductions occur.  Panetta and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey have warned Congress that uncertainty over the absence of a long-term spending agreement, debt-ceiling concerns and the lack of a full congressional budget process is extremely harmful.  Complete Article:

In April of 2012 it was announced that the United States would participate in joint military drills with Mother Russia..

Russian paratroopers will meet up with American forces next month for an unprecedented military exercise in Colorado, according to RT News.

It’s the first time Russian service members will be invited into the United States for a joint drill.  A Russian airborne task force will “exercise with U.S. special service weapons,” an announcement by Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Col. Aleksandr Kucherenko revealed. 

The official purpose of the joint training is to practice airborne tactics and anti-terror operations, such as dropping into a hostile area and conducting a “terrorist camp raid.” 

“Soldiers of the two countries will hold a tactical airborne operation, including reconnaissance of an imaginary terrorists’ camp and a raid,” said Kucherenko. 

It’s worth noting the Russians will have access to U.S. military weapons training at the Army’s Fort Carson — “Home of America’s Best” — ahead of the scheduled May 24-31 drills. They’ll also be trained to understand and operate hardware used by U.S. forces in airborne missions including “parachuting, operation planning, reconnaissance, assault operations and evacuations by helicopter.”  Complete Article 

As Vince Lombardi would say,  “What in the hell is going out there”?   July 4th  2012 two (2) Russian strategic nuclear bombers entered the U.S. air defense zone near the Pacific coast….. On Aug. 27  two Russian bombers violated U.S. airspace near Alaska during recent arctic war games. source 

Also last August it was learned that a RUSSIAN AKULA class submarine went UNDETECTED in the GULF OF MEXICO for approximately 30 days. The submarine was not detected until the sub was out of the Gulf waters.   What in the hell is up with this?

Are you going to tell me that the United States of America and our defenses could not detect a single Russian submarine in the Gulf of Mexico of all places.  You can see what a LEANER military can do for you, this is an outrage. Is our military defenses in that bad of shape, I am shocked.

“A Russian nuclear-powered attack submarine armed with long-range cruise missiles operated undetected in the Gulf of Mexico for several weeks and its travel in strategic U.S. waters was only confirmed after it left the region, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.”

It is only the second time since 2009 that a Russian attack submarine has patrolled so close to U.S. shores.

“The stealth underwater incursion in the Gulf took place at the same time Russian strategic bombers made incursions into restricted U.S. airspace near Alaska and California in June and July, and highlights a growing military assertiveness by Moscow.” Source  

What has the Obama administration done? Or better yet what is he doing or not doing. Your talking about the former USSR, they are not just going to go away.  The Russians are making a comeback and under Vladimir Putin it appears he is reverting back to the cold-war era of the 1960′s an era which I remember quite vividly, practicing getting under your desk in case of a Nuclear attack by Russia.  Like getting under your desk was going to make a difference.  We Russia and The United States do not need to return to those fearful days where you would wake up wondering if today was the day you would see the bright flash, the last thing you would ever see.  Cooler heads prevailed then, hopefully cooler heads will prevail here as well.

It seems that the COLD-WAR is making a comeback under Putin.  Vladimir Putin recognizes Obama’s weaknesses and he (Putin) is exploiting all of Obama’s weaknesses. Putin is playing the hand that Obama dealt him. Putin is testing the waters my friends and he sees that America is bleeding and is very weak, he is just waiting for his crippled prey to collapse before he pounces.  That is just my opinion of course.

Please do not think that I have ill feelings towards the Russian people, I do not.  I have nothing but admiration for them. I have a very dear friend who lives in St. Petersburg Russia. I have known him for close to 15 years now. He is and has been a very good friend and I do hope I get to see Yuly (Julius) in the near future.  We exchange e-mails weekly and he stays in touch.  It is both governments I fear, Hussein Obama is the one I fear for his lack of action and he places the United States in grave danger…….grave danger you say, is there any other kind?

We are in this mess that Ronald Reagan got us out of strictly because Hussein Obama has no idea what the hell he is doing.  He believes you LEAD from behind.. Wrong. You lead from the front with a big stick, people respected the United States because we projected strength, not weakness.  You make up your own mind on where we are headed, I have.
