In my research, I have found several sources that support global gun control, like OXFAM, and a story from the news agency, Reuters.
The UN Agenda accord, treaty, initiative or what ever you want to call it, is, indeed, a real plan to perpetrate a new world order; where every nation, and its People, are the same. Of course, someone will have to lead this new world; who shall it be? The United Nations? What, exactly, are they “united” about?
On page 42 of the document you will find the following:
5.2Pre-Conditions For Development
The SADC region accepts that its economic development can only take place on a sustainable basis if certain critical preconditions are met. These are basically peace security and political governance.
5.2.1Peace and Security
The peace and security initiative consists of three elements: promoting long-term conditions for development and security, building the capacity of the regions institutions to manage and resolve conflict, and institutionalizing commitment to the core values of the regions development
Efforts to build capacity to manage all aspects of conflict focus on the means necessary to strengthen the region and regional institutions especially in four areas:
•Prevention, management and resolution of conflict •Peacemaking, peacekeeping and peace enforcement •Pose conflict reconciliation, rehabilitation and reconstruction •Combating the illicit proliferation of small arms, light weapons and landmines.
I further found this bit of info;

Then, I saw this on Reuters!
(Reuters) – Three dozen arms control and human rights groups have written to U.S. President Barack Obama ahead of new arms-trade negotiations at the United Nations next month, urging him to back a tough treaty that would end loopholes in international weapons sales.
The 36 groups that co-authored the letter include Amnesty International USA, Arms Control Association, Friends Committee on National Legislation, Oxfam America, National Association of Evangelicals and other groups.
Arms control campaigners say one person every minute dies worldwide as a result of armed violence and a convention is needed to prevent the unregulated and illicit flow of weapons into conflict zones and fueling wars and atrocities.
The point of the treaty is to set standards for all cross-border transfers of any type of conventional weapon – light and heavy. It also would set binding requirements for nations to review all cross-border arms contracts to ensure the munitions will not be used in human rights abuses, do not violate embargoes and are not illegally diverted.
Deputy U.S. National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden confirmed the White House had received the letter, saying it “raises a number of important issues.” She said Washington would support a treaty under certain conditions.
“The March 2013 Arms Trade Treaty Conference will seek an Arms Trade Treaty that will contribute to international security, (and) protect the sovereign right of states to conduct legitimate arms trade,” she said in an email that provided the most extensive public U.S. statement on the treaty in months.
The ATT is part of a larger global effort begun in 2001 with the adoption of a non-legally binding program of action at the United Nations Conference on the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects in 2001. This program was formally called the “Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects” (PoA). From ‘The Heritage Guide to The Constitution’
Article VI, Section 2, treats treaties differently from laws. There is a textual distinction in the clause between laws “made in pursuance [of the Constitution]” and treaties “made under the authority of the United States.” See State of Missouri v. Holland (1920). The effectiveness of national treaties was a special concern of the Founding generation. This language ensured that treaties entered into by the United States prior to ratification of the Constitution—most notably, the 1783 treaty of peace with Great Britain and its guarantees against confiscations of Loyalist property—took precedence over conflicting state laws. The phrasing does not in any way imply that treaties are “supreme” even if they are not made in pursuance of the Constitution. The Supreme Court has declared that neither a treaty approved by the Senate nor an executive agreement made under the President’s authority can create obligations that violate constitutional guarantees such as found in the Bill of Rights. Reid v. Covert (1957).
The US CORPORATION that poses as a government, cannot enter into any Treaty that violates the constitutional guarantees such as found in the Bill of Rights. Why is that so difficult to get through the heads of those who keep posting insane articles about the U.N. being able to ever legally “come and take our guns”? The only way we will ever lose our guns, is if we give them up.
Reading articles like these, and not knowing how the Constitution really works in limiting the authority of the federal government, which is granted BY the People in the first place, from abusing that authority and exercising it over the People, seems like a frightning experience. Posting them whether or not you know they’re misleading and FALSE seems like fear mongering…Do some reasearch, the internet, which you are already on right now, is FULL of real information, STOP DRINKING THE DAMNED KOOL-AIDE!!!
