Shock Footage Shows Woman Getting Hit by a Train as She Flees Police — But It’s What Happens Next That May Leave You Speechless

Stunning footage posted online Sunday shows a police pursuit in Utah that ended after a woman slammed her vehicle into a train — and was then rammed by a second train that collided with her car while it was stalled on the tracks.

Authorities said the 29-year-old woman walked away with only a broken arm, despite her very contorted Mercedes sitting pinned under the train for several hours.

Detective Adam Osoro of the Woods Cross Police Department described how the incident unfolded to KSTU-TV.

“It [the car] just couldn’t stop in time,” he said. “It was too close to the incident, didn’t have time to stop.”

“There was already a southbound train going across 2600 south, and she hit that train while it was crossing,”Osoro continued. “While officers were trying to get her out of her car, a second southbound train hit her vehicle.”

“The vehicle sustained heavy damage, so in this case she’s very lucky to still be with us,” Osoro concluded.

The detective said police were trying to pull the woman over because her car matched a vehicle description of an individual involved in an unwanted guest disturbance call from earlier that morning.

The unidentified woman now faces charges for attempting to evade officers. Additional charges may also be added.
