Biblical Scholar Dr. Michael Brown Schools CNN's Piers Morgan on Jesus and Homosexuality
In the ongoing “Duck Dynasty” debate, the bigoted media at first planned to toxify Christianity as de facto bigotry. “Since the Bible is very clear about homosexual behavior,” the thinking went. “We’ll just get over that hump by declaring the Bible bigoted.” Well, that only revealed the media as bigoted and backfired. So now the plan is to rewrite Jesus and the Bible. This simple-minded, anti-science meme apparently started at the Huffington Post.CNN’s Piers Morgan tried to further this nonsense the other night, and you can watch him get his clock cleaned by a Biblical scholar below:
Jesus never said anything as literal as “homosexuality is a sin.” But in Matthew 19, Jesus made it extremely clear that marriage is between one man and one woman and that any sexual activity outside of that union is a sin:
Finally, it must be considered that Jesus did, in fact, speak against homosexuality. On numerous occasions, Jesus condemned the sins of adultery (Matthew 19:18), sexual immorality (Matthew 19:9) and fornication (Matthew 15:19). These terms describe any type of sexual intercourse that is not within the confines of a marriage ordained by God. Jesus then proceeded to define exactly what God views as a morally permissible marriage. He stated:Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate (Matthew 19:4-6).Gay or straight, the Bible does not discriminate. The sexual bar for Christians is very, very high.
The only people who might feel discriminated against are those of any sexual preference who base a large part of their personal identity on their sexuality. For my money, though, their biggest sin is being tedious, narcissistic bores.

In the segment shown here, it is not Piers Morgan who feels the full force of the counterpunch. It is Marc Lamont Hill who gets a lynching. Marc Lamont Hill used the opportunity to try and be a hero, but he fell on his face. He comes to the defense of Piers Morgan but he is totally ineffective against a Biblical scholar who came prepared to deliver a knockout. I cannot comprehend how Marc Lamont Hill teaches at Columbia University. He isn’t good enough to be a student at that college. A totally incompetent Negro. Columbia University is, of course, Obama’s alma mater and apparently the university feels some pressure to be a shining example of affirmative action. But an idiot who makes an idiot of himself on national TV doesn’t do the university any good.
We have a Negro for President now and he is a product of Columbia University. Now Columbia should worry less about affirmative action and more about its image as a university that employs world class faculty. A faculty that can think logically on its feet in front of an international audience. A faculty that can make cogent and meaningful arguments. Not a faculty that will disgrace itself and the university in full public view.
marc lamont hill…why is he defending homosexuality, anyways? is he, himself, gay?
Dr.Brown knows his bible (torah) and delivered a one-two knock-out punch to any nincampoop watching, not just piers morgan…lol…why don’t people read the bible?!?…
it’s all there to know yourself – there are reasons why god said it is a sin…not just to make your lives difficult.
and, there is no such thing as gay love, it’s lust…love comes from obedience to god’s word…love was created by god for eros between a man and a woman, and between god and man…anything else is nothing but evil lust.
I didn’t write the bible – it was inspired by god, through his prophets who took the time to listen to the lord and he spoke to them what he wanted them to write down.
Yes, god does speak to his people…that’s prayer too.
