This is what a so called A-list Beltway GOP party looks, or should I say, smells like. Geesh. I wonder if they previewed “Screech’s” lame sex tape. Given his habit of sleeping with girls he picked up at Disneyland, “Dustin Diamond has a large penis and has used it to have sex with more than 2,000 women, most of whom he picked up at Disneyland“, too bad Ryan Loskarn couldn’t make it this year. Who knows, they may have been able to compare some notes?

Just hours before GOP Consultant Ron Bonjean‘s infamous Christmas Party Saturday night, word began leaking that the mystery party guest was from The Wonder Years. Bonjean, a GOP consultant, and his wife, Sara, host the party annually at their expansive Alexandria, Va. home where they break out a humongous tent and invite a bunch of reporters, political types and strange elves over to party. It’s not the hardest invite to lasso if you’re remotely social and have a Capitol Hill connection or a byline, but it’s not the simplest to secure either. Not everyone gets in.

Last year there was urinating on neighbors’ lawns. What holiday cheer would this year bring?

This year’s mystery washed up actor was Dustin Neil Diamond (yes, his parents really hate him) who played the ultra-geeky “Screech” on Saved by the Bell.

We hear Sen. Lamar Alexander‘s (R-Tenn.) ex-Chief of Staff Ryan Loskarn was also supposed to attend the weekend party. He has attended in years past, but he’s a little tied up at the moment. His bail hearing is scheduled for Monday.

Frankly, I’ve enjoyed one in the past at both the corporate and non-corporate-levels. The thing is, we produced things in the private sector. We drove profits and had quotas and accountability. The only money that flows in to support the Beltway lifestyle pictured above comes from either donors, or taxpayers. Washington is now an industry - one that taxes the American economy, as opposed to contributing to it. And these would be masters of their mini-universes exist only as leeches sucking the life’s blood out of American free-market capitalism, whether it be through corporatism, cronyism or just plain political corruption.

You may think the people you vote for on election day are running things. But when you peel back the layers of Washington, you’ll find them relying on these very people above. And when they aren’t scamming America with their latest bit of political BS, far too many journalists, consultants and staff members and even some elected officials are feeding from the same trough, while looking down their noses at you, the American people.
