Gov't Corruption Robs the People of Personal Rights & Constitutional Liberties

Since you seem to be a truly reasonable guy and on top of matters, perhaps you can answer a simple question which no one seems to consider or comment upon.

We have just spent some 600 million plus dollars on this “ObamaCare” program which to this date is not functioning, wherein payments to the insurers seem not to be functioning and where customers neither receive receipts, notification or insurance cards and wherein doctor offices which may or may not be a part of the system themselves cannot verify coverage.

Yet, we learn daily of the highly sophisticated NSA computer programs which can glean personal information, credit information, payments made, addresses, locations and all other sorts of arcane knowledge which is supposed to be for our security.

Thus my question is why the disconnection, why is it that a bureaucratic agency of the government has the most sophisticated systems in the world and another agency for our protection has one of the worse systems? What am I missing?

Greetings dear Reader,

I wish that I had the proper answer to your very appropriately conditioned query. The fact is that the “ObamaCare” web site contract was awarded – on the basis of cronyism – to an inept and crooked technocrat whose wife was a classmate of Obama’s wife, and who bilked the American taxpayers out of millions of dollars while the NSA was not similarly handicapped with their program of spying.

Also I would put it down to the plain fact that the politicians (and most especially Obama) do what they darn well please, without recourse to any enforcement by the agencies of the Department of Justice, which is presided over by Obama’s buddy Eric Holder, a clear and unquestioned progressive radical

The politicians (especially Obama) have in today’s environment the unauthorized and unconstitutional ability to specify what they will have or what they will not have. If they wish for an agency to be invasive of privacy, the agency will have such ability, if they would properly wish for an agency to respect Constitutional guarantees and protect privacy the agency will do such, unless Eric Holder unilaterally divines otherwise.

In order for the system that prevails to function in our stead, we must have a rigid and uncompromising enforcement apparatus. If one link of that enforcement collective breaks down the whole of the apparatus will fail, as it has now done.

The Constitutional guaranties have failed because they are not upheld and rigidly enforced by the government agencies charged with the enforcement of the individual and collective liberties that are specifically guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. The fault for this failure rests to a great extant with the judiciary. When the courts and the justices thereof view the constitutional assails on the tenets of the unbending and inflexible enforcement statutes of the Constitution – especially the provisions of the Bill of Rights – from a personal and subjective perspective liberties and protections will fall like dominoes. And we, you and I, know they have done so and will continue to do so.

Unfortunately our government institutions, including the judiciary, have been filled with corrupt individuals of little integrity and even less in the way of character. The politicians of the Administration and the Congress, and the seemingly irrepressible and currently uncontrollable bureaucrats that function at the will and caprice of the politicians have seized dictatorial control of the people. Through the years the people have willingly given up their role as rulers of the government in exchange for handouts, popularly known as stuff. And have willingly put into these government offices debauched and debased individuals who function via dissolute motives. The foregoing applies also to appointees to the courts…the whole of the duty of the existing disparate bunch seems these days to be in using their position of authority to milk their position of the opportunities to enrich themselves. To the point that most who have been in office for even a brief while have become millionaires.
