Friday on The Hagmann & Hagmann Report: The Shroud of Turin

By Douglas J Hagmann & Joe Hagmann, Hosts

18 April 2014: On this very special “Good Friday” edition of The Hagmann & Hagmann Report, we will explore the mysteries of the Shroud of Turin with our guest Russ Breault, a leading expert on this historical and religious artifact. We had the distinct honor of meeting Mr. Breault at the Prophecy in the News conference in Orlando, Florida just a few weeks ago, and listened as he presented his research findings on the Shroud. As career investigators with a total combined experience of nearly 40 years, we were amazed by his evidentiary findings, and equally amazed at his ability to present his research results in a methodical and pleasantly understandable fashion.

Mr. Breault uses a “CSI approach” as he takes audiences on a thought provoking adventure that extends through early church history, ancient art, modern science, and medical forensics to inform listeners about the proven characteristics of the Shroud as well as the “mystery” behind it.

Could the Shroud be the most important archaeological artifact ever found, or is it just a medieval fake? Does it provide clues to what happened during the crucifixion and resurrection, or is it just a pious art work created to represent these events? After thousands of hours of scientific analysis, the Shroud remains a profound mystery. After this episode, however, you will have a much clearer understanding why there still exists both mystery and controversy regarding this alleged burial cloth of Jesus.

This is a very special show that promises to have a significant impact on your beliefs and perception of this “controversial” artifact. Mr. Breault’s appearance tonight is most appropriate as Christians worldwide are marking today to remember the day of the crucifixion.

Mr. Breault has appeared in numerous nationally televised documentaries airing on History Channel, Discovery Channel and CBS. He hosted and produced 12 episodes of The Shroud Report, a half-hour interview show with the world’s leading experts. He has participated in nearly every international research symposium since the first Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP) conference in 1981. He attended all three recent public exhibitions in Turin, Italy in 1998, 2000 and 2010.

Mr. Breault is the President and founder of the Shroud of Turin Education Project Inc. (STEP) which functions to raise general awareness of the Shroud with a specific focus on colleges and universities by inspiring young people to investigate this fascinating mystery.

Be sure to tune into this very special broadcast tonight, and spread the word of his appearance with others who want to learn the truth behind this fascinating historical and religious artifact. We can attest to his ability to engage and captivate audiences with his unrivaled skillful delivery and depth of knowledge.

The Hagmanns lied about the Obama eligibility conference. They put out disinfo and outed themselves as disinfo agents that can not be trusted. Until they offer an explanation for such blatant lies, why would anyone listen to them anymore?

The Shroud of Turin could be disproved with a high school science project. With a magic marker put eyes, ears, nose, mouth etc. on a head shaped melon. Now wrap the “face” with a translucent paper. Mark on the paper where the facial features are. Now take the paper off of the melon and spread it flat. The image on the paper will NOT be a photographic image (like the vaunted Shroud of Turin), but a widely (note this term) distorted image. Easy proof that the Shroud was NOT produced by chemicals of the body of Christ on the Shroud, but by fabrication, a drawing or painting, if you will.

The shroud is a medevil fake.

I wish they would hang that old bed sheet up or wash it or something. Its like Lewinski’s dress, someone hung onto it for a few centuries. It has survived a fire and been lock in some cadaverous old monks closet. Give it a break and enjoy it. Even if it wasn’t wrapped around Jesus the fact that it lasted so long deserves merit.

Interesting conclusion here. If the Shroud is real, then everyone knows what Jesus looks like. If it is a fake, why would anyone do that? The only conclusion I can come to is someone paid for it to be painted to hide what Jesus looked like. Imagine some Roman ruler not wanting his subjects knowing what Jesus looked like, or what color his skin was.

It’s been tested and no paint or paint brush strokes were found on the cloth, but I can see your point that someone would want to “hide” Jesus’ identity.
If you think about it, [what if] we are still living under Roman rulers, because we have the same governmental system set up that the Romans did, basically our whole cast system and social society are set up the same way also, and we all learned that the Roman empire fell, but they didn’t die off, I think they spread out to other countries and declared themselves royalty and made their subjects believe the lie. Could their ancestors still be running the show today? I know it sounds far fetched but it’s a possibility.
