Obama Calls for Highest Sustained Taxation in U.S. History
In the budget proposal he presented to Congress last month, President Barack Obama called for what would be the highest level of sustained taxation ever imposed on the American people, according to the analysis published last week by the Congressional Budget Office.
Under Obama’s proposal, taxes would rise from 17.6 percent of Gross Domestic Product in 2014 to 19.2 percent in 2024. During the ten years from 2015 to 2024, federal taxation would average 18.7 percent GDP.
America has never been subjected to a ten-year stretch of taxation at that level.

All the more reason to impeach. The only thing preventing congress from starting formal impeachment proceedings is that most in congress lack a spine. Any other country with half the authority that this country’s congress holds would have impeached him in his second year. But our spineless congress, afraid of being called names, and especially afraid that they may lose that big fat whopping retirement package cower in the shadows. When they talk big, it’s all talk and nothing more. A patriot, a true American would put it all on the line for their country. Oh we have plenty of patriots in this country. They are hard working average folks. But if called they would leave their jobs, the comfort of home and give their lives for this country. How many in congress would you suspect would do the same? My guess is about 1/2 of 1 percent. That lady’s and gentleman is one of the problems. Where I come from they’re called (the ones with no spine) career politicians.

It’s part of the game, people will feel vindicated when they vote in a Republican but that person will continue on the same course as obama. Probably give obama and the rest of the administration full pardons immediately after being sworn in.
Just remember, we started an international war, and gave King George his walking papers over 15% taxation. The Democrats keep overlooking that small detail, that is so conveniently summed up in the Constitution and Bill of Rights that they keep trying to burn, everytime someone gives them a match.
