Why Hillary’s Gaffe’s Aren’t Being Buried by the Media
Hillary Clinton seems to be claiming – with her woes of poverty – that she wasn’t born with a Silver Spoon in her mouth. To borrow a phrase from former Texas Governor Ann Richards… she was born with a Silver Foot in her mouth, instead.
The latest Hillary gaffe:
But they don’t see me as part of the problem because we pay ordinary income tax, unlike a lot of people who are truly well off, not to name names; and we’ve done it through dint of hard work.
What she said implies, of course, that she is not “truly well off.”
Not well off if you consider money she’s made since her husband left the White House and her husband’s pension and speaking fees ($300,000 a pop). Not Bill Gates wealth but certainly better than all but the 1%.
Though the mainstream media appears to bury stories like Benghazi, Louis Lerner, and Eric Holder, they aren’t totally hiding this story.
That’s because many Liberals dislike Hillary and, I think, want to see her nomination bid end before it really begins. That’s why you’re starting to hear about little “tiffs” between Barack and Bill or how Hillary’s book isn’t selling when compared to Palin’s or how some mainstream media journalist “laughs” at Hillary:
In fact, Hillary Clinton‘s most recent attempt to explain that her family’s personal wealth, which is estimated to be more than $150 million, means that they’re not that “well-off” was actually met on Monday with laughs from CNN anchors.
What you’re going to see – increasingly so – over the coming months is a rash of “journalists” starting to crap on Hillary. Because she’s not Liberal enough.
They want someone more Liberal than Hillary and Obama. They want someone who is going to take what Obama has begun and run with it.
That’s the real story here, not Hillary’s poverty declarations.
