School Tells Kids to Bring Favorite Toy to School, Then Suspends Boy for Nerf Gun

It doesn’t get much dumber than what this government school did. Young Ramsey McDonald was told by his “teachers” to bring in his favorite toys. He did:

“They were trying to get the kids to know each other,” his father, Scott McDonald said.

The Miller Elementary School student told his father Friday night he was going to bring in his iPad and a couple of toys.

His father didn’t think much about it and said “OK.”

McDonald learned it wasn’t OK when he received a call from the school Tuesday.

“They told me my son brought a weapon to school and they asked me if I was aware,” McDonald said Wednesday. “I asked them what it was and they said it was a plastic Nerf gun.”

They actually called a Nerf gun “a weapon.” Then they turned around and handed down a three day suspension.

For a Nerf Gun. Why didn’t they just call DHS and report a terroristic threat?

Maybe that’s just for pop tart guns, now that I think about it.

And people turn their children over to be educated by these people.

Here’s my rule: if you need a zero tolerance policy, you can’t think on your own and have no business educating children.
