Canada Parliament Shooter Michael Zehaf-Bibeau A Muslim Of Algerian Descent (#Ottawa)
The gunman was described as “dressed all in black with a scarf over his face” when he murdered Cpl. Nathan Cirillo. He has been identified as Michael Zehaf-Bibeau. After murdering Cpl. Cirillo at the War Memorial Zehaf-Bibeau then opened fire in the Parliament building. He was eventually killed by the sergeant-at-arms, Kevin Vickers.
This is reportedly a picture of the Islamic jihadist Bibeau (it comes from an account linked to ISIS) that is going around Twitter (and yes, I indeed am ‘going there’ and calling this SOB exactly what he is … a jihadist):
CBS has reported that sources say his name was Michael Abdul Zehaf Bibeau, and he sometimes dropped the Michael and went by Abdul Zehalf Bibeau. The Vancouver Sun reported that Bibeau was arrested in British Columbia in 2011.
According to the Globe and Mail Bibeau was recently designated a “high-risk traveller†by the Canadian government and that his passport had been seized — the same circumstances surrounding the case of Martin Rouleau-Couture, the Quebecker who was shot Monday after running down two Canadian Forces soldiers with his car.
