Why Paris Attacks Matter For America: Ulsterman

Less than 24-hours prior to the horrific Paris terrorist attacks yesterday that, according to media reports, may see a casualty rate eclipse the lost lives of two-hundred men, women, and children, Barack Obama declared that ISIS was contained.

ISIS has since taken responsibility for the Paris attack and as of this writing, at least one of the attackers was said to be carrying a Syrian passport and was a “refugee” who last month was seeking “asylum” in Greece.

With that knowledge fresh in your mind, consider this headline from yesterday:

“Obama Admin Moves to Speed Up Admission of More Syrian

Refugees”

It is being reported that 10,000 of these refugees are right now being unloaded into New Orleans.

10,000.

And the administration is pushing to take in more, and do so more quickly:

“The White House would not say how many additional refugees it may take in beyond the 10,000, but two senior administration officials said they are seeking ways to increase the number.”

Any time you see the description of “senior administration official” in relation to the Obama  White House, you know it is a decision involving Iranian-born, White House Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett:

Yesterday morning’s political-related news was dominated by GOP candidate Donald Trump’s rather incoherent ramblings against his primary Iowa rival, Dr. Ben Carson. It was a speech in which the New York billionaire, looking a bit tired, asked an Iowa audience of supporters why Iowa voters could be so stupid as to support Ben Carson. He went on to expound upon Carson’s self-described, “pathological” violence as an angry youth and then likened it to the pathology of a child molester.

It was not Mr. Trump’s finest moment and quickly  began to trend as the #1 political topic of the day both on the grassroots, social media level, as well as the Mainstream Media.

Then the Paris terrorist attacks shattered the day’s news programming and the Trump vs Carson kerfuffle was rightfully pushed aside in favor of a far more important, and pertinent news item.

Paris, like much of France, is a place literally overrun by a quickly expanding Muslim population. A percentage of those new arrivals to that city and country are Islamic radicals. Some have suggested five percent. Others have warned it could be as high as twenty percent. Whatever the actual number is, the figure represents a clear and present danger to the stability of France and any other nation seeing its demographics significantly shifted by a growing Muslim population.

Germany is currently seeing demonstrations against the influx of Muslim immigrants, including thousands of Syrian refugees being transplanted into German communities by that government. These demonstrations have been mirrored in Greece as well where small communities are living in fear of violently aggressive Syrian “refugees” now roaming their streets, breaking into homes, and destroying property.

Barack Obama and his cadre of Democrat Party leaders have said little to nothing about the threat of radical Islam. The president himself has yet to even show a willingness to use that very phrase – radical Islam.

Within an hour of the Paris attacks yesterday, French government officials were indicating a belief it was an attack by Muslim terrorists and linking it to ISIS itself. During his public statement on the attacks, President Obama refused to include any mention of it being Muslim terrorism, telling Americans we would do better not to speculate on such things.

That is not leadership – that is intentional capitulation and it is a tone Mr. Obama has repeatedly set both in American and abroad which in turn has only emboldened those Islamic radicals who want nothing more than to the see the entirety of Western civilization turned into a blood-soaked remnant of history.

The current crop of GOP candidates for President of the United States offer a decidedly different tone when it comes to the threat of Islamic fascism. Unlike Barack Obama, they are more than willing to call Islamic terrorism just that. And in the case of candidates like Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, two men despised not only by the liberal Mainstream Media but their own Republican Establishment, they have been particularly strong in their determination to see groups like ISIS and the growing threat they represent, to be wiped off the face of the earth.
