Jimmy Carter Prefers Trump to Cruz

Trump sure has a knack for gathering endorsements. For reasons similar to those of far-left garden gnome Robert Reich, Jimmy Carter also prefers The Donald to Ted Cruz:

Former President Jimmy Carter said Wednesday that if he had to choose, he’d pick Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump over rival Ted Cruz, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. …

“The reason is, Trump has proven already he’s completely malleable,” Carter said. “I don’t think he has any fixed (positions) he’d go the White House and fight for. On the other hand, Ted Cruz is not malleable. He has far right-wing policies he’d pursue if he became president.”

An unstated reason for Carter to prefer Trump is that given the latter’s conspicuous character flaws and lack of political principles or expertise, he might knock Carter down to third place on the All Time Worst Presidents list. Prior to Obama, Carter topped this list.

Also, he must like Trump’s attitude toward Israel.
