‘Natural Causes.’ Really? We All Know the Obama Mantra About Not Letting a Crisis Go to Waste

I have become extremely sceptical of all that takes places in modern culture and am thus looking at the sudden death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia with more than a hint of suspicion. How convenient that one of the most conservative members of the Supreme Court, the one that’s been an open sore to the Obama administration throughout its tenure, just lies down and dies, thus creating a vacancy on the court that could have ramifications for America’s future too depressing to contemplate.

It’s a scenario straight out of a John le Carré novel: A sitting president in his final days trying desperately to create a lasting legacy, one that fulfills his promise of the “fundamental transformation of America,” manages to keep that promise by filling the unexpected vacancy on the court by appointing a justice that forever changes the balance between conservative and liberal interpretations of American jurisprudence.

And true to form the Obamites jumped on this opportunity with both feet. The first words coming from the administration after the obligatory expressions of sadness was a declaration of a Democrat Senate Resolution to the contrary, Obama was preparing to name a new justice to the Court ‘in due course. At the top of his short list is the name Sri Srinivasan, a justice department functionary whose political views make Ruth Bader Ginsberg look like a right-wing kook.

One would think that any presidential administration would stay as far away as possible from anything that might remotely smell like skulduggery. But the Obama Administration, whose devotion to the Alinskyite concept that the end justifies the means, would have no such compunction. Additionally, the three main elements of murder i.e. means, motive and opportunity, are clearly in play.

According to the Canadian web site Press Core, political assassinations through poison induced heart attacks have been in common use for generations. “For over 50 years assassinations have been carried out so skilfully as to leave the impression that the victims died from natural causes. Details of some of the techniques used to achieve this were brought to light in 1961 when professional KGB assassin Bogdan Stashinskiy defected to the West and revealed that he had successfully performed two such missions. In 1957 he killed Ukrainian émigré writer Lev Rebet in Munich with a poison vapour gun which left the victim dead of an apparent heart attack. In 1959, the same type of weapon was used on Ukrainian émigré leader Stepan Bandera, although Bandera’s death was never fully accepted as having been from natural causes.” 

As such, the means has always been at hand, as has been demonstrated that most governments, including that of the United States, has the capacity to take down anyone at any time without moral or legal compunction about doing so. If evidence for this statement is required, just look at the assassination of US citizen Anwar al-Awlaki, whom the Obama administration saw fit to execute with a drone strike. No arrest, no trial; just the execution.

The second ingredient for murder is motive and the administration certainly had plenty of that. Justice Scalia’s devotion to strict Constitutional textual interpretation of the law was a major hindrance to the implementation of the progressive agenda. As such, all whose goals include transforming the United States into a socialist workers’ paradise would see his demise as a blessing.

Finally and most important, is opportunity. What better place to take care of a pesky Supreme Court Justice than a remote ranch somewhere in west Texas over a Valentine’s Day Weekend? Given the means available to cause a death made to look like natural causes and the motive to salvage Obama’s legacy, these circumstances raise enough questions about what happened at the Cibolo Creek Ranch Saturday night to warrant a thorough investigation into the cause of Justice Scalia’s death, if for no other reason than to determine that those of us who are paranoid are wrong.

But then, we all know the Obama mantra about not letting a crisis go to waste.
