That is the hope of every election cycle, reader, but perhaps at no time in recent memory has that declaration been so pertinent as it is now.

Do not waste your energies on the false premises of Republican or Democrat, for it would seem very little daylight exists between those two constructs. No, instead focus on the far more important rights of Freedom, Liberty, and Self Determination, for these must be the air we breath, the food that sustains us, the very blood that courses through our collective veins.

There was a time when Americans understood, respected, and fought to protect such principles.

Has that time gone from us? Have we become the very thing so many who came before us sacrificed so much to defeat?

And are there any who yet remain willing to still fight, to still sacrifice, to still demand we put forth our better selves so that we might help to secure a future worthy of America’s storied past? Do you choose to be a SON and DAUGHTER of LIBERTY, or a slave to indifference?
