I’m not sure how, but I missed this October 25, 2016 open letter to James Comey regarding the Clinton email investigation by retired FBI Agent Hugh W. Galyean.
In his letter Galyean lays waste to Comey. He holds nothing back. And if he expresses what a great many FBI agents cannot or will not say openly, perhaps his words, and the whispered concurring sentiments of active FBI agents, have played a role in Comey deciding today to re-open the Clinton email investigation. I certainly don’t know such for a fact, and maybe the truth won’t ever come out as to why he has done so, but I have to imagine that if a retired agent felt compelled to publicly savage Comey as severely as Galyean does in his open letter, that the amount of blowback Comey has gotten privately must be overwhelming … and well deserved. And just maybe Comey has decided that he owes the reputation of the FBI more than the Clintons. I hope so anyway.
