By providing affordable energy that we do not need to import from abroad, fracking provides independence, wealth, jobs, and a higher standard of living. Yet there are people with good reason to oppose it. Two examples are Russians and people who take money from Russians:
Leaked transcript of one of Hillary Clinton’s speeches reveals the former Secretary of State suggesting that the Russians are funding organizations that are opposed to fracking.

The aforementioned quote is from a speech Clinton gave on July 2014, where she pointed out that “phony environmental groups” were being “funded by the Russians” to oppose “that fracking.”
Bernie Sanders supporters will be enraged by this evidence that Shrillary sometimes sets aside the moonbattery when behind closed doors.
Why would the Russians care if we access our own energy resources?
In other leaked speech transcripts, Clinton … said that the U.S. is on “a path to surpass Russia in oil and gas production.”
This clip from the 2013 movie FrackNation demonstrates why the Russians want to put the kibosh on fracking before it catches on in Europe:
