Crenshanda Williams, 43, a former 911 operator for the Houston Emergency Center, is facing misdemeanor charges of interference with an emergency phone call after her managers found she had thousands of ‘short calls’ (20 seconds or less) in a 6 month time span, and she admitted that she hung up on callers when she didn’t feel like talking. (2 minute Video at the link)
With such a truly piss poor attitude toward her work (listen at ~ 1 min 45 sec in the video), Williams is a perfect fit for job at the VA. But Williams’ lack of performance aside, what is more disturbing is that it took six months for her managers to catch on to her dereliction. Maybe her managers ought to look into the VA as well.
