Congratulations To President-Elect Donald Trump

As everyone who reads here knows, I am not a fan. I have said for quite some time that I thought Trump would win because he tapped into the popular discontent, and just like Obama was the anti-Bush, Trump is the anti-Obama. One man can’t fix what ails our country, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt unless or until he should prove unworthy. I congratulate him and pray that God gives him the the humility, reason, honor, integrity (and basic English skills) needed to successfully execute the office of President.

I stayed up to watch his acceptance speech and I must say that it was his best speech yet. He came out with a conciliatory and heart-felt tone, lacking any of the previous brashness, bravado, or self-love which is standard in a normal Trump speech. I look to his presidency with great anticipation and promise. I also maintain a sharp spear should he deviate from the principles that we hold dear and which have made (and kept) The Real Revo as the most intellectually-honest site on the interwebs. I will not bite my tongue or spare the rod, but I will be honest and fair in my assessments or acknowledge when I am not.

Thank you, America. I hope we get half of what you were hoping for. Congratulations Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America.
