Mom Goes to Court to Prevent Government From Transforming Her Teenage Son Into a She-Male

It matters that we don’t let deranged ideologues define chemical and surgical disfigurations possibly inspired by The Island of Doctor Moreau as “medical” procedures. We don’t want to open the door to horrors like this:

A Minnesota woman who didn’t report her son as a runaway even though he was gone from home for six months has filed suit against him to stop the 17-year-old from becoming a girl, as well as several government agencies for helping him on that gender-switching journey.

“It was brought to my knowledge that my son began receiving hormone replacement treatments from Park Nicollet Health Services to transition from male to female, with medical assistance paying for this,” Anmarie Calgaro told reporters in a St. Paul, Minn., courtroom. “I was not consulted or informed about this in any way.”

The lawsuit filed Nov. 16 challenges a Minnesota law that allows minors to get medical care without the consent of their parents even though the state does not have an emancipation process for children who want to break away from mom and dad.

Medical care. Becoming grotesquely sexually disfigured may be politically correct, it may even be trendy, but it is not medical care.

The medical services and drugs were paid for through St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services.

Taxpayers aren’t asked for consent either, unfortunately.

Although Calgaro was not even notified as the St. Louis County school district along with other government agencies conspired to transform her son into a freakish facsimile of a female, the authorities did block his attempts to change his name.

Most runaway teens are a bit screwed up. That Big Government would exploit this poor kid to advance its social engineering objectives, sacrificing any hope he might have of a normal life, is unconscionable. Kudos to the mother for fighting back. If he recovers from his current troubles, one day he will thank her for it.
