Sean Hannity Calls for Mainstream Media Outlets to Be Denied White House Press Credentials

Remember when the Obama Administration tried to exclude Fox News? The other news networks, recognizing the threat to a free press, refused to go along with it, declaring that if Fox didn’t have access, they wouldn’t accept access either. The Administration had to step down.

It was enough to restore your faith in America. But Trump’s most obsequious media cheerleader, Sean Hannity of Fox News, has apparently forgotten all about it.

Hannity indicated Monday that he believes President-elect Donald Trump should deny White House credentials to media outlets that have been critical of Trump.

Hannity, a staunch Trump supporter throughout the campaign, retweeted a tweet declaring Trump should deny credentials to CNN, the Washington Post, the New York Times and others because of their correspondence with the Democratic National Committee. WikiLeaks uncovered questionable communication between reporters and DNC leaders, including DNC interim chief Donna Brazile, sending debate questions to the Clinton campaign before the debates.

Meanwhile, Hannity himself got in trouble with his own network for appearing in a Trump campaign ad and for spewing comically juvenile propaganda supported by absurd online polls.

Hannity is a clown, but he has over 1.8 million followers on Twitter. He must have the ear of Trump, whom he did as much as anyone to help to power.

No worries if the mainstream press is not allowed in the White House. We can just get our news from the new Pravda.
