The Election of Donald J. Trump and the future of America

My deepest and most sincere congratulations to President Elect Trump, his family, his running mate Mike Pence, his family and to everyone that stood up to the tyrannical regime that has attempted not to govern, but to RULE this nation.

To slightly paraphrase a line from Michelle Obama a while back; let me tell you something; for the first time in nearly 8 years, I am very proud of my country, because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.

This time we have *Hope and Change* that is real.

I have been trying to write this post all day, since 4:30 AM on the 9th and I have had to stop, rewrite, start over, delete, edit out and totally rethink much of what I had written simply because it was too rough for the minds of the overly sensitive among us.

I have dumped a lot of people from my *friends list* on social media over the last few months, not because of their beliefs, but because of the sheer stupidity they exhibited regarding Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and the way they adamantly touted Hillary as being the one that will finalize the legacy of Barack Obama.

That dear friends is exactly WHY Hillary Clinton had to be stopped.

Now we have a bright future I believe. I have great faith in Mr. Trump, he is a successful businessman and the United States is nothing more than a very large business concern.

I honestly believe that Trump will be good for America and ultimately for the entire world.

We have a Conservative President elect, a GOP Congress and Senate and IF, there’s that HUGE word again, IF they can all work together as they should this nation will soon be the most respected and financially solvent nation on the face of this earth.

This list is from a Facebook friend and I have modified it slightly to encompass the moves that Trump needs to, in MY opinion, address as soon as possible.

1. Scalia’s replacement.
2. Secretary of State
3. Secretary of Defense
4. Attorney General
5. Ambassador to the UN.

Scalia needs to be replaced sooner than later but there needs to be at least on standby to take a position as Justice because the SCOTUS is falling apart with OLD AGE, as long as we get staunch Conservative on the Court we’ll all be OK.

Secretary of State is a position of great importance and quite frankly I have NO idea who would be best suited to take that mantle.

Secretary of Defense? Hands down, Allen West. In the immortal words of the great Kinky Friedman; “Why the hell not?”

Attorney General? Once again, and incredibly easy decision in MY opinion, Trey Gowdy would be an excellent choice, but can Congress replace his as a top-shelf investigator into the crimes and high treason that are sure to follow shortly after the new administration takes a seat?

Last, but certainly not least, the Ambassador to the U.N.

Get the U.S. OUT of the U.N. and get the U.N. OUT of the U.S. Problem solved and one less position to fill.

Cancel every Executive order made by Barack Obama, govern using the United States Constitution, that’s what it was written for.

Dismantle ObamaCare, build our military back up to a point where we truly are a WORLD power once again. There’s enough right there to keep DJT busy for the first few weeks I think.

On OUR end, the American citizens must, I mean absolutely MUST fire the Congress and Senate up and hold their feet to the fire. NO MORE RINOs, either do the job or lose the job, THEY work for US, not the other way around.

If you care about America make it your personal mission to call, write and to email your elected officials on a weekly basis. Sure, it will take a bit of time and effort but for crying out loud folks, what’s more important, The Walking Dead and DWTS or the future of this nation, our children and grandchildren?

Miss a little TV and get active, this is, without a doubt, the greatest, and quite possibly, the LAST chance we’ll have to restore America to a place of greatness and power.
