Please indulge me in a break from politics for just a moment, because I ran across a place that is pretty cool, and which I would love to visit. I’m talking about Berggasthaus Aescher-Wildkirchli.
The guest house is built into the side of a mountain.
To get there you can hike or take a cable car.
Once there, try the local cuisine, featuring chäsrösti, basically souped up hashbrowns – like chäsrösti with speck (ham) and Ei (egg).
To get more of a flavor for visiting Berggasthaus Aescher-Wildkirchli, here are links to some who have enjoyed and documented the experience. Berggasthaus Aescher-Wildkirchli and Flying With Kids. One day I hope to visit Switzerland. And if I ever do, I’ll be sure to make it here.
