(Before It's News)

The following Letter to the Editor appeared in the Mansfield (Ohio) News Journal today, Wednesday, November 3, 2016:

Many look at this election as a choice between two evils, two immoral scoundrels. But this election is not “Crooked Hillary” or “Never Trump.”
This election is Democrat versus Republican. Sitting out this election shirks a citizen’s duty. Voting for a third party candidate, as a noble or principled protest, misses the opportunity to make any real difference.
Voters are not only electing a person, but a party platform. Even though they are largely symbolic, they offer some evidence of the direction and priorities of the candidates.
We are choosing an administration — 4,000 or so appointees to various agencies, cabinet positions and departments. Do you want another lawless Eric Holder, abortion zealot Kathleen Sebelius, pro-homosexual radical Arnie Duncan or Lois Lerner and James Comey, who choose politics over the law?
We are picking the president’s advisors. Do we want Huma Abiden with suspect Muslim Brotherhood ties to advise Clinton? Trump likely selects advisors like Ben Carson.
We are also electing a person who will choose a Supreme Court and other federal judges impacting the culture. Will we follow the founders or the progressives who make up and enforce imaginary rights like privacy (abortion) and sodomy?
Do we really want more Ginsburgs on the court ignoring the Constitution? Trump promises to name conservative, pro-life justices.
Hillary Clinton’s election is Obama 3.0, achieves more “fundamental transformation (dismantling) of America.” Donald Trump offers a glimmer of hope for the nation’s future. However Trump must overcome the biased media and major voter fraud to win.
