Trump Critic Drops N-Bomb on CNN

On CNN, Anchor Brooke Baldwin ran a panel today with Charles Kaiser, a contributor for CNN, and Paris Denard, an African-American Trump surrogate.

In the panel, Donald Trump, the alt-right and Stephen Bannon were discussed, and Kaiser made accusations that Trump’s campaign was energizing a movement that was racist and anti-semitic. To support this argument, Kaiser said that Trump, in a rally, had asked his supporters to give him the Nazi arm salute to show they supported him. Brooke was confused and asked when exactly Trump asked for that to be done, and Kaiser commented that “In March, he asked his supporters to raise [their hands] and pledge their support to his candidacy and promise to vote for him.”

Raising a hand and giving a Nazi salute are, to my knowledge, two completely different things.

Then, the shocking moment of the panel came when Kaiser commented on Bannon being appointed Trump’s chief strategist and said that his advice for Trump was that if Trump didn’t want to be associated with racist groups, then “don’t choose as a White House counselor a man who uses the word n—er.”

Paris  and Brooke were shocked as Kaiser finished his argument, and Brooke then reprimanded Kaiser and said “please don’t use the n-word on my show.”

Paris then defended Bannon and gave an anecdote about Bannon having seen him on tv and praising him for the work he was doing.
