Suicide Bomber Attacks Christmas Market in Cameroon

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

A suicide bomber in Mora, Cameroon attacked a Christmas market on Sunday, killing two people.

The suicide bombing is believed to be the work of Islamic extremist group Boko Haram.

Boko Haram terrorists have killed thousands of people in their quest to create an Islamic state in Nigeria, while carrying out attacks in other African countries as well. Like ISIS, Boko Haram (which means “Western education is forbidden” in the Hausa dialect of Nigeria) strives to eliminate western influence and implement Sharia law through terror.

According to a Cameroonian soldier, “The suicide bomber was pretending to be a beggar and was walking towards the market which was full because of Christmas…he was stopped and in panic he detonated his explosives. If he hadn’t been spotted the death toll would have been higher.”

During the holiday season, there have been numerous jihadi style attacks around the world. Earlier this month, the Islamic State is urged the ummah (the worldwide Muslim community) to attack Christians and Jews on Christmas and Hanukkah. Muslim intolerance has made the holiday season a dangerous time for peaceful Christians and Jews who live in Muslim countries, and with the growing Muslim invasion of the West, the world is becoming an increasingly dangerous place to live.

REUTERS, December 25, 2016

A suicide bomber in the northern Cameroon town of Mora killed a young student and a woman in an attack on a market full of Christmas shoppers, an aide to the governor of Far North region said on Sunday.

Suicide bombers suspected of belonging to the Islamist militant group Boko Haram have launched attacks in Mora, about 30 km (20 miles) from the Nigerian border, several times before.

The bomb also killed the attacker and wounded five other people, said the aide to Governor Midjiyawa Bakary.
