America was built on the blood, sweat and tears of immigrants, but that doesn’t mean that if you decide to ditch work and attend a pro-immigrant protest, you get to keep your job.

Last weeks The Day Without Immigrants protests, which shut down business around the country, has taken a toll on those individuals who selfishly decided to take the day off to protest instead of going to work.

Many have now been fired from their respective jobs, and rightfully so.

This nationwide demonstration was nothing more than an anti-Trump protest for his views on national security and immigration, two issues that are inextricably tied together.

Actions have consequences, so if want to take part in such future protests, then know the risks.
