For the most part it stinks, but ObamaCare Lite does have a few redeeming qualities. For one, it has entertained us with guffaw-worthy examples of liberal hypocrisy. Here’s one from original ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber:
“Any replace[ment] that they would pass would result in millions of Americans losing health insurance, would result in higher premiums, and would result in a huge redistribution from the poor to the rich,” Gruber said on Boston Herald Radio’s “Herald Drive” show with John Sapochetti and Rick Shaffer. “Now if they are happy with that and they are willing to do that, I wouldn’t call that a replacement, I would call that a scam.”
As with a recent remark by Nasty Pelosi (who deserves to have her name on ObamaCare more than Obama does), the remark would be at least partially true if anyone else had said it. But it sounds too absurd to be true coming out of a scam artist like Gruber:
If we are as stupid as Gruber believes, we will let Trump and Ryan ram this steaming mess down our throats.
