Brian Williams’ Condescending Arrogance Gets Him in Trouble

Disgraced propagandist Brian Williams struggles to control his massive ego even now:

Williams has been rebuked by MSNBC for being “patronizing” to the network’s biggest star, Rachel Maddow.

After Williams hijacked Maddow’s show to break the Syria missile news earlier this month, he turned to her live on air at the end of the segment and said, “Thanks for visiting tonight. Glad you were a part of our coverage.”

Madcow’s moonbat fans — ever on the lookout for sexist microaggressions from white males — exploded in rage. The brass isn’t happy either.

A source at the network said, “Not only did Brian go way over the top with his coverage of the missile strike, he then totally patronized Rachel by thanking her for ‘visiting’ her own show and being ‘a part’ of his ‘beautiful’ coverage! Has he not learned anything from ‘Misremember-gate’?”

Misremember-gate entailed Williams falling from his perch atop NBC Nightly News after he was caught telling tall tales about his experiences during the Iraq War. He wound up as a breaking news anchor at MSNBC, also hosting an 11 pm wrap-up show. It was that or work in the mailroom.

Sources said MSNBC chief Phil Griffin was furious with Williams’ disdainful treatment of Maddow. According to a source, “Phil gave Brian a very stern rebuke, telling him, ‘Don’t you ever do that again.’

Or what? He’ll get busted down to MSNBC? He already has been.

They ought to be patient with Lyin’ Brian. It can take decades to get all of the hot air out of an ego that has been inflated to the zeppelin dimensions seen in top network propagandists. Williams’ fellow fraud Dan Rather — whose career imploded back in 2004 when he was caught trying to sway an election with crudely forged documents — also seems to consider himself a person of importance to this day.
