Now it Is Racist Not to Make Eye Contact

The more frenzied progressives become in their witch hunt mentality, the more totally innocuous behavior must be regarded as racist; otherwise, the politically correct will run out of thought criminals to persecute. As with vocabulary, what was perfectly acceptable yesterday is now forbidden — including failure to make eye contact with members of politically privileged I mean “marginalized” groups:

Students who avoid making eye contact with their peers could be guilty of racism, according to Oxford University’s latest guidance.

The university’s Equality and Diversity Unit has advised students that “not speaking directly to people” could be deemed a “racial microaggression” which can lead to “mental ill-health”.

If there is one subject educrats ought to know about, it is mental ill-health.

Terrorized into eager compliance with even the most preposterous demands of the thought police, students can now be expected to make abnormally persistent eye contact with those believed to be higher in the victim caste system. Social engineers will then proclaim that it is as racist to make eye contact as not to make eye contact with sacred minorities. This decree will perfect political correctness, placing all regular people in a position where no matter what we do, it is racist. Or maybe we are already in that position.
