After Caving to Black Lives Matter, University of Missouri Forced to Cut 400 Positions, Raise Tuition

Think about it, American University. Are you sure you want to follow University of Missouri off the edge of this cliff?

Officials at the University of Missouri’s flagship campus in Columbia have announced a plan to cut approximately 400 jobs and raise tuition in the face of a projected 7.4 percent plunge in student enrollment and a $14.7 million state budget cut. …

Mizzou officials blamed the enrollment decline — the second steep enrollment drop in two consecutive years — on ongoing “public perception concerns,” according to the [St. Louis] Post-Dispatch.

In the aftermath of a one-practice racially motivated strike by blacks on the football team, University of Missouri caved to a mob of Black Lives Matter thugs, allowing them to drive out President Tim Wolfe, basically just to show they could. More moonbattery inevitably followed, sending the school into a tailspin as its reputation collapsed and students who actually wanted to learn rather than protest went elsewhere. Without taxpayer support, Mizzou probably would not be able to keep the lights on.

In the end, you can have moonbattery or you can have education. You can’t have both.
