If I Changed My Mind

If I said that I wanted the gov’t to subsidize corn, logging, or any other private industry jobs, what would that make me?

If I said that buying GM and paying for their unions was the way to go, what would that make me?

If I said that taxpayers should pay for healthcare for everyone, because “pre-existing conditions” what would that make me?

If subsidizing jobs to boost employment or increase labor force participation rates is good, why don’t we just cut out the f-king middle man and put the government in charge of ALL MEANS OF PRODUCTION?

If I believed those things, I would be a socialist.

Yet, every single day, millions of Trump Cult statists (most trump voters don’t fit here) take to the internet to fight real conservatives into submission…to push their bullshit progressive answers onto reasonable people who just want less government interference in their lives.

They don’t tolerate anyone questioning their dear leader. We have been consistent in our views since I showed up here in 2009. When those views focused on the orange-golden calf, we lost a great many friends. I will admit that we have been hard on Trump, but it’s been no harder than any day under Obama.

We believe in individuals, here. We don’t have a team. We fight, day-in-and-day-out to advance the principles which made America great, before the progressives destroyed it.

We fight for free markets, free minds, and free people keeping the fruits of their labor and disposing of their property in any manner they see fit, so long as it doesn’t violate the rights of others.
