Measles Outbreak in Minnesota; Somali Colonists Shun Vaccines

Islam isn’t the only thing the federal government has been importing along with Somali welfare colonists. There is also measles:

With 44 confirmed cases of the measles, the Minnesota Department of Health is now expanding its recommendations for those who should get vaccinated. …

Almost all of the cases are among unvaccinated children, between the ages of 0 to 10. The Minnesota Department of Health states one adult has now been infected, as well.

Thirty-eight of the cases are Somali-Minnesotan.

The enrichment isn’t just cultural; it’s biological too.

Health officials warn that measles is very contagious in those without vaccinations and can lead to serious hospitalization and even death. … Health officials say it’s possible to get the measles, just by being in the same room as someone who has it.

Living as they do in the seventh century, Somalis don’t think much of our new-fangled vaccines. This guarantees that a disease we thought we had behind us will continue to spread.

An anti-vaccine event was held in Minneapolis on April 30. The audience was led to believe that vaccines cause autism:

Measles can be dangerous, said parent Ikram Mohamed, but the illness only lasts a short time.

In contrast, “Autism is not a curable disease,” said Mohamed, as several Somali-American mothers in the front row cheered her on.

Mohamed, a mother of five who said she had delayed vaccination in four of her children due to fears about autism, said doctors need to inform parents that they can delay or opt out of vaccines.

Even if a few kids do die of measles, if you are a Muslim welfare colonist, chances are good you have plenty to spare.
