BLM Cops Endanger Fellow Officer With Leaks, Get Demoted, Now Want Money

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

One thing Black Lives Matter types have going for them is that they are never encumbered by shame. For example, Abdul Pridgen and Vance Keyes, who were at the time Assistant Chief and Deputy Chief, respectively, in the Fort Worth Police Department, endangered fellow officer William Martin by leaking his personal information. Martin had been involved in an arrest that racial grievance mongers like faux black person Shaun King hyped as evidence of oppression. Pridgen and Keyes did their part for the BLM cause by leaking Martin’s body cam footage, internal discipline records, Social Security number, and home address, also endangering his pregnant wife. The assassination of five officers in nearby Dallas last year for reasons pertaining to BLM ideology provides context.

Pridgen and Keyes clearly deserved to be fired, if not brought up on charges. Yet no doubt thanks to the same “oppressed” status that was likely to be instrumental in their rise toward the top of the department, they received only wrist slaps. They were demoted, and Keyes got a 3-day suspension.

Incredibly yet predictably, they are now presenting themselves as victims. Like all noisy victims, they expect to be rewarded. Check out their GoFundMe page:

Pridgen and Keyes were figuratively lynched for speaking against unlawful police practices. They were deliberately defamed and their careers were irreparably harmed. …

Please donate whatever amount you can. No amount is too small. These funds will be used to fight for justice and their Initiative for Transparent and Accountable Policing (ITAP).

Funny, Google doesn’t turn up any evidence that ITAP even exists, apart from the GoFundMe plea.

Their goal is $76,000. They aren’t likely to make it. But even the $485 sent in so far by their fellow moonbats is appalling.

Pridgen and Keyes: betrayed fellow officer, expect to be rewarded.
