Father Henri Boulad Calls a Spade a Spade on Islam

Christianity has traditionally defended the West from its enemies, both external and internal. But who will defend Christianity? Drained of conviction by political correctness, prominent clergy have been unwilling to resist both moral decadence and the rising threat of Islam, which historically has expanded mainly at the expense of Christianity (in Egypt, Syria, Asia Minor, the Balkans, Lebanon, etc.). Greek Melkite Jesuit Father Henri Boulad takes the bull by the horns:

Boulad believes that when it comes to dealing with Islam, the Catholic Church has succumbed to a “liberal left ideology which is destroying the West” based on the pretext of “openness, tolerance and Christian charity.”

In a June 10 interview with the Register, Father Boulad reveals that he shared these sentiments with Pope Francis in a letter he wrote to him last August, telling him that many think the Pope’s own views on Islam are “aligned with this ideology, and that, from complacency, you go from concessions to concessions, and compromises in compromises, at the expense of the truth.”

Truth is usually the first casualty of moonbattery. Other casualties soon follow, especially when the moonbattery enables Islam.

Father Boulad, an 85-year-old Egyptian, was asked, “What evidence is there to show that Islam is inherently violent?” His response lays the issue to rest:

Here are clear statements of the Koran itself :

“Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them.” Koran 2:191

“Make war on the infidels living in your neighbourhood.” Koran 9:123

“When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them.” Koran 9:5

“Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable.” Koran 3:85

“The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them.”… Koran 9:30

“Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam” Koran 5:33

“Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies.” Koran 22:19

“The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them.” Koran 8:65

“Muslims must not take the infidels as friends.” Koran 3:28

“Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.” Koran 8:12

“Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels.” Koran 8:60

Father Boulad then cited other Muslim sources that unsurprisingly back up the Koran, and gave historical examples that form a bridge of carnage and brutality between Islam’s origins and its current application.

Contrary to the piteous bleating we hear from clueless and cowardly Western “leaders” like Theresa May, terrorism is not a perversion of Islam. As Father Boulad puts it, “Extremists are just applying what their religion teaches them to do.”

From his letter to Pope Francis:

“It is high time to emerge from a shameful and embarrassed silence in the face of this Islamism that attacks the West and the rest of the world. A systematically conciliatory attitude is interpreted by the majority of Muslims as a sign of fear and weakness. If Jesus said to us: Blessed are the peacemakers, he did not say to us: Blessed are the pacifists.”

Well said. Pope Francis may not listen, but with luck, others will.
