Merit and Not Being Racist Are Microaggressions

To avoid committing microaggressions, people need to understand just what a microaggression is. The best definition may be, “Anything that undermines liberal dogma.” For example, liberals view most everything through the prism of race. Therefore, color blindness is a microaggression. Progressives believe that rewards should be distributed not in accordance with achievement, but according to race, sexual deviancy, affiliation with Islam, or illegal alien status. Therefore, merit is a microaggression. Rowan University has helped codify this in a new guide:

The guide—which is available on the website for the Rowan University Bias Assessment & Response Team (BART) along with several other resources billed as “tips to stop bias”—lists various examples of “microaggressions,” then provides suggestions for “Third Party Intervention” approaches, followed by more-detailed explanations under the heading of “Communication Approach.”

Under the heading “Myth of Meritocracy,” for instance, the document asserts that saying “Everyone can succeed in this country, if they work hard enough” constitutes a microaggression…

“Everyone can succeed in this country, if they snivel belligerently enough,” is how it actually works nowadays.

The guide also lists several examples of microaggressions based on “Color Blindness,” listing statements such as “I don’t believe in race” and “When I look at you, I don’t see color” as offensive comments.

So much for that content of character stuff. Turns out MLK was a racist microaggressor.
