A little Reality Check from a Progressive friend…

If Kennedy retires, and Trump replaces him with someone from the same right wing Think Tank nominee list that contained Gorsuch, the tug of war would finally have been won by one side. And due to the ages of Ginsberg and Breyer, they will probably waive the white flag and surrender their seats since they will be rendered politically impotent anyway.

The public knows more names of Kardashians than they can name Judges on the Supreme Court, and although they know of the name of some cases, they are generally clueless of the major impact that the Supreme Court has on our lives. Other than the power to launch a nuclear war, the President has no other power as important as appointing a Judge to the Supreme Court…

The Supreme Court shapes the soul of our country. And the right wing would have finally won – a complete and total victory. And it will be a lasting victory for at least the rest of my lifetime.

Who could have seen any of this Four Years ago or even less than that? I can tell you for a fact that the person who wrote those words didn’t see any of this even 10 Months ago. In his mind and in the minds of Millions like him, none of this should be happening.

I am certainly thankful that it is happening. It can get as ugly as it wants to get in all manner of daily news topics but this is exactly why it is the way it is. All efforts are being put forth to defeat this President because of the impact he will have on the Supreme Court.

Thus far this President has proven that he will make the correct pick for the Supreme Court. I’m so glad that it’s him and not her. Try to imagine how your outlook for the future of this Country would be different right now if President Hillary Clinton had been elected to pick 4 Supreme Court Justices.

The Progressive world is in a Panic right now.

I’m glad it’s them and not us. That sentiment has nothing to do with Tribalism or Yay Teamism.
