Racist Students at Evergreen College Call for Day Without White People

If you disagree with their racism, you are considered a racist.

The scene was at a Washington state college where people who claim that whites are racist because of the color of their skin called for a day without white people.

The day was established because of a claim that whites are racists, and so the college is not a safe environment for “people of color.”  Protests emerged, and demonstrations expanded, because a biology professor says he no longer feels safe on campus.  Student activists complain they’re being vilified by conservative media.
So, to protect them from the racism that may or may not exist, they chose a racist path to combat such supposed racism at Evergreen State College.
Rage filled the students when the professor was exposed to call the “Day of Absence” what it was… racist.  An email surfaced on Twitter on May 25 between Professor Bret Weinstein and Rashida Love, director of First Peoples Multicultural Advising Services. Weinstein, who is white, allegedly condemned the “Day of Absence” event that asked white people to leave campus for the day.

He called the day “an act of oppression in and of itself” and said he would visit campus in spite of the demonstration, according to USA Today.

“If there was interest in a public presentation and discussion of race through a scientific/revolutionary lens, I would be quite willing to organize such an event,” Weinstein wrote.

The students called for Weinstein’s firing (filming it and placing it on YouTube).  “Hey-hey, ho-ho, these racist teachers have got to go,” the students chanted in the video.  Demonstrations erupted, with as many as 200 students pouring into classrooms and the school president’s office with rage seething from their pours that a white professor would dare condemn their racist “Day of Absence.”

Weinstein told news station KING that he was advised last week not to go to campus for safety reasons, because the violence that could be perpetrated by these peace-loving people of race who are racist against people they believe is racist because of the color of their skin could be more than Weinstein could manage.

“I have been told by the Chief of Police it’s not safe for me to be on campus.”

Multiple protest videos have been picked up by conservative media outlets, but the students disagree with the coverage, calling the footage “edited.”

“We demand that the video created for Day of Absence and Day of Presence that was stolen by white supremacists and edited to expose and ridicule the students and staff be taken down by the administration by this Friday,” students said in a statement to the College Fix.

How can violence be evident in a non-violent video like that unless a violent nature existed?
Do the enraged students not understand that assuming someone is racist because they are white, or calling for a day without a particular color of skin being allowed on campus, is racist in its own right?
If you don’t want someone to be racist towards you, doesn’t it start by you not being racist towards them, too?
Martin Luther King, Jr. said that he was driving for a day when someone is not judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.  Black activists like these students are going against what Dr. King taught.  It goes both ways.  King meant in his quote any color of any skin.  While a white person should judge you by the content of your character, not by the color of your skin, does not that same rule apply to you?  Shouldn’t you be judging the white person you are falsely claiming to be racist by the content of their character, and not the color of their skin?
The truth fell on deaf ears.  For Marxists, the ends justify the means, and all opposition must be silenced, or not allowed on campus.
