Remember the opening wedding scene in “The Godfather”? We just read that Al Martino passed away. He was 82!

We will always remember Al Martino because of “The Godfather” movies.

He sang that song during the wedding celebration!

He was also the singer who could not get a contract. In the end, The Godfather got him the contract and the memorable “horse head on the bed” scene!

Beyond that movie, he also recorded other great tunes!

He was one of the most popular male vocalists of the last 50 years!

Al Martino had a great voice, as we can appreciate from listening to his many selections.
